Solar array

Our solar program offers eligible customers a brand new solar array of sixteen high-efficiency photovoltaic panels—a system valued at $33 thousand. Louisiana’s sunny climate is an ideal environment for these units. In direct sunlight, our arrays supply an average of four kW (kilowatts) of usable energy per hour, enough to slash your energy bill by up to $50 to $75 a month.

Inverter

Your panels come equipped with a cutting-edge inverter that one of the highest-efficiency models available on the market. Inverters convert DC to AC power, so you can use the electricity in your home. They’re also responsible for plugging your system directly into the power grid, which allows your power company to “rollover” the power you don’t use.

Mounting rack

When it comes to durability, Green Grants has done its homework. It’s important to us that you’ve a system that lasts. For the undercarriage of your new panels, we’ve selected an aircraft-grade aluminum racking system. This mounting rack has been specially engineered for cantankerous climates such as Louisiana’s. It can sustain up to 1” hailstones and up to 130 mph winds. Our coverage doesn’t stop there. For the first five years, Green Grants will guarantee your unit under a full warranty, supplying all maintenance and/or needed repair. That means if your neighbor’s tree falls over into the system, or should our city suffer volleys of 3” hail—Green Grants has you covered.
